There are 3 grants available:
- Individual Energy Upgrade
- One Stop Shop Service Grant
- Fully Funded Energy Upgrade
With two of the above grants being available to landlords, there has never been a more pertinent or better time to make energy reducing changes to your rental property.
The two grants available to landlords are Individual Energy Upgrade, One Stop Shop Service Grant.
The Individual energy upgrade is available to all landlords/homeowners without means testing, the grant which can help with things like
- Attic insulation
- Wall Insulation
- Heating Controls
- Heat Pumps
- Solar Thermal
- Solar PV
The individual energy upgrade is aimed at landlords/homeowners who have the means to manage the project , select a contractor and wait for reimbursement from the SEAI after works are completed.
Criteria for homes
For homes built and occupied before:
- 2011 for insulation and heating controls
- 2021 for heat pumps and renewable systems
